Following the AGM held earlier in the month the committee got together to welcome the newly elected and ensure a smooth transfer of roles from those departing. Discussions took place regarding the usual monthly business agenda this allows all officers to feed back any progress since the previous meeting. Obviously our accounts had not changed to much since the balance sheet had been submitted to all members. Rally books needed to be ordered for 2015 so there was some excitement as another rallying season creeps nearer. Total amount for the Air Ambulance 2014 was £1092.10 and the club had done really well but the bar for 2015 was set even higher as the committee were set a target of £1795:00 and this prompted some debate as to how we will seek to achieve. A sub committee is to meet prior to our next meeting on 25th November where we will welcome the enthusiastic and seek to create yet another winning format for the 2015 charity rally. We will keep you posted. Hopefully this is the first of many posts as we try to keep you better informed on the clubs progress.
